Has anybody experienced getting a Mauritanian visa on the border crossing from Morocco?
I think we got our visa at the Border post, or down the road in noudibou.
Same goes for Insurance etc..
I'm thinking of going to Mauritania through Morocco. Did you manage to get your visa at the border? If so can you give me some details.
Yes you get your Visa at border post.
You also get Insurance and other biits.
3 Huts if I remember correctly.
My trips end at The Gambia..
If you checkout Saharaoverland and The Hubb they have a load of info doing Sahara crossings, even to Timbuctoo, think thats how you spell it..
Just went into Hubb.. For Visa's.
For routes and stories of other travellers etc., also shortcut to HUBB on Forums..
Hope that helps a bit more, but be warned, you may miss your ferry if you start reading it all...!!!!!
Im now in Tiznet, south of Agadir, without a yellow fever certificate. This is not the most prepared of trips. Do you happen to know if I will be able to get it along the way?
Thanks again for all your help.
I get my Yellow fever in UK, think it lasts 10 Years.
Flying in from UK, not needed.
Local Doc or Health Centre would be best bet I would imagine.
Sorry can't be of more Help on this one..
Contacted the health authority here in Tiznit and they told me the only place to get it was back in Casablanca, at the Pasture Institute; Did that two days ago. Tomorrow head on South.
