Some possible options of recommendable accommodation - Lorries B&B, Amadeus Guest lodge, Gerties Lodge, Pamusha Lodge - approximate cost $105 to $150 for a double room per night, but some of these have family rooms as well.

We are going over in June and are thinking of staying at Vic Falls Backpacker Lodge. Has anyone stayed there recently? What's it like?

We are a large family and needed to keep costs down so have just booked two 2 bedroomed lodges at the Victoria Falls Rest Camp for 5 nights next Easter for a total of £652! (Not bad reviews here on TA either.)

I thought this was an excellent price, quotes for other more upmarket places were triple if not quadruple that, just for a room. Even though the accommodation is basic the Rest Camp site looks nice and there is a large pool for the kids and cafe, it is also walking distance from the Falls, etc. The money we are saving on accommodation will be spent on activities and excursions :)

I would go for the Vic falls rest camp, its in town of which you walk from one place to another without getting a taxi. even to walk to the Falls it will take you about 15mins

thank you
