Hi, You might get more replies on the Botswana forum.

Not sure which is best route. Sometimes it can depend on whether it is a week-end or mid-week. At a guess maybe come through the border at Martin's Drift but you would have to leave Jo'burg really early and have a very long tiring journey all the way to Kasane. I would not recommend driving at night. Especially north of Nata. You don't want to hit an elephant on the road!

its a long way from JNB if Kasane / Chobe area is your only and final destination. would recommend flying to kasana from jobgurg. its then only 20 minutes from kasane airport.
