seeing falls

My question is how long to see the the falls on the Zimbabwe side? We have a very full and tight schedule while we are in Victoria Falls. We arrive and have about two hours then off for a sunset cruise on the Zambezi river. Next day out very early for a full day tour of chobe national park. Then the last full day we basicially have free. On this day we would like to visit the rose of Charity Orphange, do some shopping at the curio market and see the falls. Does anyone think this is to much for the last day? How much time to spend at the falls and what time of day is best to go to the falls.? veronica

A few hours let you see the falls pretty good. If you have more time that may be better. We were on the Zim side a few weeks ago and the best time of day was 1 to 3 p.m. as the spray was lower. The Zambezi cruise was nice, tasty croc snacks and beer. And we loved our day trip to Chobe with Steenbok Safari. We regret not having more time to shop so you have a good plan.

few hours should be fine at the falls. I guess it all depends on time spent at the orphanage and when your flight leaves. Also there is a nice open air market on the way to the falls. Its past and behind the post office building.
