Thanks everybody for your comments. We have been back a few days and trying to settle in, visiting famly and friends.

The trip was amazing, we couldn't have wished for a better trip, the planning from go to whoa was superb as was the wildlife, especially the Gorillas. The lodges and camps were excellent, the 4x4 perfect for such a long safari. We couldn't have wished for a better experience.

If you have time for these longer roads trip they are well worth it. I will post more details of our "trip of a lifetime" over the next few days. Siouxx thanks for the pm in answer to your question, the trip couldn't have been better.

Welcome back Liz. Glad you had a great time. I will be waiting on your reports as I am framing out a 21 day similar to yours, but in reverse and sadly not as many leisure days in Tarangire area. Will you mention your lodgings as well, or do seperate reviews?
