Beau Vallon to Petite Anse (Four Seasons)

How much by bus or taxi?

If we hire a taxi, any other beaches or attractions to stop by along the road from Beau Vallon to Petite Anse?

Thanks.

Hi travelem!

I do not recommend to go by bus because it is a very long and unpleasant journey. Bus drivers are far from being great drivers. You need to change the bus in Victoria, total cost for the journey will be 20 Rs on return trip. Taxi is very expensive - at least 40 euro per way so a rented car is a must to visit south-western side of Mahe if you stay on Beau Vallon.

I will start with Jardin du Roi and continue with the beaches from south-western side of Mahe: Anse Intendance, Anse Takamaka, Petite Anse, Anse Soleil and Anse a la Mouche. You can have traditional creole lunch at Maria's Rock Cafeteria or at Anse Soleil Cafe.

Miki,

If we go to Anse Intendance, is it the same as Banyan Tree's beach? Or Banyan Tree has a private beach? Thanks.

There are no private beaches in Seychelles (theoretically) so you can visit Anse Intendance which is located in front of Banyan Tree Hotel. The sea is very rough here mostly in the dry season so try to avoid swimming.
