Hello ashish!

July and August are the driest months during the year but the sea is very rough and the currents are very strong.

Choosing an island depends on what kind of activities you want to have in Seychelles. If you want watersports Beau Vallon on Mahe is the best place to stay. If you want great beaches, natural parks and day trips to Bird and Giant Tortoises Reservations Praslin is the most convenient. If you want to stay on a small island and to visit by bike lots of great beaches then La Digue is the answer. If you want a luxurious resort head to Four Seasons or Raffles, and if you would like to have an AI package St Anne Resort is the best choice.

Hi Ashish,

Please note that August is a month in which a lot of people are on holiday there and if you prefer to snorkeling or diving the sea conditions are not the best because the sea is rough and the view under the water is not perfect. The right months would be September/October and April/May.

Have a nice day,

August is also in high season so prepare your budget accordingly. If you want to come to Seychelles this August you should hurry. Some of the hotels and guesthouses are already fully booked so you should hurry with the booking.

yes, it all depends on the duration of your stay to be honest, but stick to the two main islands and the currents become less important as you will have no sea crossings. I'd always take in Praslin if possible but Mahe has plenty to offer and with the right beach you will be fine.
