Paradise sun or la reserve?

Can anyone compare these 2 hotels for me? I'm struggling to choose!

Price difference is £600 with paradise sun being more but it's HB

I'm also getting fed up with travel agents, I'm trying to be brave and thinking is it better to organise my island hop myself?

If so, where do I begin?! How do I organise transfers and hotels and get the hotel offers etc? Is it more trouble than it's worth!

You could try Seychelles Travel, I used them for our last trip and they were helpful and competitive. I haven't been in paradise sun, but we did go to La Reserve for dinner one night and I thought it was a lovely hotel in a beautiful spot. The drinks were expensive, but the food was reasonably priced I thought.

I have mentioned before I am not a fan of resorts and half board. I wouldn't do HB around Cote D'Or as there are enough hotels and restaurants around.

We stayed at les Villas D'OR and loved it. At the time Tante Mimi restaurant at the casino (fairly tasteful casino!) did free pick up and drop off.

First job: talk directly to a Selychelles specialist operator and 2, unless you're teavelling as a family then with that piece difference, it has to be La Reserve. Both are fantastic and yes the HB option is great, but a good Tour op will get you an HB option at La Reserve to compare.

You can do it easily on your own. Start with a map to understand how to get around by boat or air. Take a look at this one with both: www.seychelles-last-minute.com/pt_68.html

I prefer the rooms at La Reserve personally. The deluxe rooms are gorgeous. I would book on BB i agree as then you can choose where to eat and often the hotel dinner price 25 euro on average would be more than enough to eat elsewhere.
