Safety in Morocco

I am thinking of a holiday in Morocco in Nov. I am wanting to travel to Marrakech and possibly Casablanca. Has anyone been recently that can report on safety etc. Thanks

hi Poppy I travel regularly to marrakech as a solo traveller

I have had little to no problems as a woman ..remember to dress with a little care in the souks and madrasas a shawl or sleeved top ..maybe not short shorts ...casablanca is a very busy commercial city ..why not fez or tangiers ? marrakech is certainly enough for three four days ..souks museums mountain trips shopping and eating ..dont miss museum of photography ..i often walk back through souks to my riad ..dont listen to boys or false guides who say a derb is closed it almost certainly isnt ...the flea market on thursday is also great at bab khemis ..have a great time xrose
