Family friendly hamman?

We're planning to visit Marrakech in July. We visited 2 years ago, and loved it, so are returning with the kids (aged 7 &9). I was keen to do a hamman during my last idiot, but never got round to it! I'd love to try to go to one on this visit, but have children this time. Is there any hamman's that would be suitable to take children to?

Also, any other suggestions for specific 'family friendly' places to visit would be great!

Thanks for all advice.

Hi,

tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g293734-i9196-k438…

Might be of interest.

Try typing variations of what you are looking for into the search box. There's loads of information about travelling to morocco with children which people have taken the time to post to help other visitors.

For ideas to keep yourselves and the kids occupied see

for some suggestions. In July you may wish to be in the shade during the day. There are also "beach" clubs ( you can search for them using the search box) but (I'm sure I need not say this but will anyway!) please be aware of the sun's strength at this time of the year, especially concerning children.

Do you want to go to a spa hammam or a local hammam?

When you say "we" are you man and woman or two men or two women?

Are the children two boys, two girls or one of each?

Which hotel are you planning to stay in?

I ask these questions so that I, and others, can provide better replies to your question.

not that i'm an expert - but are your children not too young for this type of experience? most 'spas' i have used are for over 18's. massage for children is very specialised.

Children, boys and girls, can accompany their mothers to the local hammams, but the boys only to certain age of course!
