Guide to Mount Toubkal?

At the beginning of October we plan a trip with friends from Marrakech to Mount Toubkal. I'm looking for guide and any suggestions related with trekking on MT in October: how long is it, how to wear...

Thank you!

Many thanks Tim and Youness.

The company had high reviews on TripAdvisor, which is why I thought they would be good. They said because it is just for one, the cost is high.

850€ for a 5 day trek, Berber villages and Toubkal Summit.‏ It includes: private transport from and back to Marrakech, a mountain guide, a mule & muleteer, food, and accommodation during the trek.

They also wanted to charge me 550€ for a 2 day Sahara trek for a solo traveller.

I've contacted a few other guides to see if I could join other groups, but doesnt look like there are many (or even any) that are trekking in April.

I may have to take my chances and hope I can find a reasonably priced guide when I get to Marrakech.

Many thanks for your posts.

I will be trekking to the summit at the beginning of April. If I survive and return in one piece I will try to file a trip report and pass on any useful info re: guides. For 4 nights all in with mules, food, refuge accommodation, etc we are paying 190 euros each. ( there are 10 of us). We are trekking for a Marrakech charity (not sure if this made a difference to the cost.....?) and we're happy with this price. We have received excellent communication so far from the trek guide. It seems quite well organised. However I will be able to share more when I return.
