itinerary help

We have a flight leaving from Casablanca in early evening. We'll be coming from Fes the night before. Do you suggest spending the whole day in Casablanca, or perhaps going from Fes to Rabat the night before, and touring Rabat the day of our flight instead, before going to Casablanca for our flight?

In other words--3/4 of a day in Casablanca, or 1/2 a day in Rabat--which is better?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

My vote would be for Rabat in this scenario.

From Rabat, you can take a train to the airport, with a change at Ain Sebaa station.

Casablanca isn't the hightlight of Morocco. The chellah in Rabat is a wonderful experience, plus the city is a great place to wind down before flying home.
