comfortabl tour suggestions for person with limited mobility

Hi,

I am looking for ideas for 4/5 nights in Morocco- mid to late November. We would love a guided 4x4 tour of the popular areas as my husband broke his back earlier this year and due to this, needs a comfortable, suportive seat + air conditioning- he wouldnt be able to cope with bus or train seats for more than an hour. He can walk unaided, and climb stairs but cannot go for miles of hiking/climbing!. He cannot ride a mule/camel/quad. We prefer culture/desert to shopping!

We have seen desert majesty or morocco explored and like the itinerary options we would prefer a driver with sufficient english to communicate our needs, able to escort us around any tourist traps and good beds (happy to camp overnight if a proper bed) . Hoping to find something for around £100-150 per day

Oh i forgot, you can also ask for a Mrcedes sedan, there are plenty of them in transportation industry, they're very comfortable, but they are much older than the Vitos.

I hope that you do not mind me sending you a private message, but having read your posting, and having spent many years visiting Morocco, seeing the good, the bad, and the evil! I thought I would just warn you to do your research extremely well regarding forum postings for guides, unfortunately most recommendations originate from the guides or their friends under the guise of many names.

May I also suggest that you check that both your accommodation and any comfort breaks that are suggested to you have European toilets and not Arab toilets, which may cause your husband even further discomfort.

Please be assured that I am not touting for business, as I have never used a guide in all the years that I have spent visiting and staying in Morocco, plus as a destination expert I am not allowed to either.

My final comment is regarding guides fluency in English, most guides are taught by Americans and as such do not have a total fluency in the language.

I do hope that you have a wonderful holiday in Morocco, and once again I hope that you do not mind me having sent you a private message.

Yours sincerely

Tangergirl
