Places to eat and drink in Anderson

Does anybody know of any restaurants in Anderson that offer Gluten-Free. Also any good places to go for the 30-50 age group.

I wish I knew of Gluten-Free restaurants. Hopefully someone else will be able to help you with that.

For places to go, the local visitors bureau websites should give you a lot of ideas about activities.

Anderson, Madison County Visitors Bureau

www.heartlandspirit.com

Muncie Visitors Bureau

http://www.munciecvb.org/mvb/

Anderson's Hoosier Park is a nice place to watch horse races, and the AMA draws people from all over. www.hoosierpark.com and www.modelaircraft.org

Mounds State Park in Anderson is a small but interesting park with mounds built by the prehistoric Adena & Hopewell people.

Minnetrista Cultural Center in Muncie is a nice place to visit as well.

What brings you to the area? What are your interests? If you give us more information, we could probably give you other ideas for activities in the surrounding area.

For example, you would be within an easy drive of Indianapolis, Amish Country, James Dean's hometown of Fairmount, Historic Farmland, etc.

Have a wonderful trip!

Here's a website that should help you. "Participating restaurants are able to provide gluten-free meals from their regular meals. GFRAP is a program of the Gluten Intolerance Group of North America."

http://glutenfreerestaurants.org/

(None were listed in Anderson, but two were listed in Muncie.)
