Help! Manele Bay Hotel

I have clients leaving soon for the Manele Bay Hotel-just found out the Hulopoe Court Restaurant will be closed. Is this going to be a major hardship? I know there aren't a lot of choices for dining-can anyone offer suggestions? It is too late to change their trip, and it's a special occasion!

There is a free shuttle between the two resorts. Other than time spent in a van they should be fine.

If they get bored with resort food have them try the food at the Hotel Lanai. It is in Lanai City and used to be the guest quaters for the Dole plantation. It has since been converted to a smallish hotel but it has a 4 star chef/owner and a great restaurant.

Your other option, if it is available, is to book them into the other resort so they don't have to commute for meals.

The Manele Bay Hotel's Ihilani (Mediterranean cuisine) and Poolside (Seafood/Steaks) restaurants are still open, as is the Clubhouse restaurant at the Challenge golf course. The shuttle to the Challenge takes about 3 minutes, and the views from the terrace are great.

LanaiKane is correct. There is also the Terrace and Formal dining rooms @ The Lodge at Koele as well as their clubhouse (for lunch). There are 4 other small restaurants in Lanai City beside Henry Clay's. They serve anywhere from pizza, plate luch, and bistro style foods.
