Help with Itinerary for 5 nights

My wife and I are considering a vacation to Costa Rica for the end of April 2014. We only have 6 days for exploration. We want to see Arenal, Monteverde, Manuel Antonio for their rainforests, volcanoes, waterfalls, hikes, canopy tours, beaches etc..

Are we cramming too much in 6 days? Would you recommend we restrict to Arenal and Monteverde only, or alternatively go to Manual Antonio?

What is the weather like at the end of April and into May? It appears it'll be the transition period from dry to wet, but am wondering if someone has more insight.

If you fly into Liberia, you could visit a beach near there and also spend a couple nights in Arenal.

With 6 days max 2 locations. Most popular is a combination of Arenal and Manuel Antonio. The weather will be, do not worry. Just plan your outdoor activities in the morning, specially in Arenal and Monteverde.

I agree. 2 locations in 6 days is about all you can pull off and have time to enjoy it. Bring an umbrella, shoes that can get wet, and a light rain jacket as the rains typically begin around the first of May. Costa Rica is beautiful even in the rainy season and it usually rains only in the afternoons or nights.
