Arenal Hanging Bridges

My family will be driving through Arenal and would like to stop to see the hanging bridges. We will have all of our luggage in a rental SUV. I can carry a backpack with our passport and camera but I am concerned about leaving the suitcases unattended and in clear view. Would it be safe to leave the luggage in the car unattended here?

I don't necessarily recommend it, but if you do, you should be sure to park directly in front of the cashier.

Personally I wouldn't do that anywhere. It's a pretty safe area, but I always think you're taking a chance doing that. When we went this last time the parking lot was deserted. If you can arrange to stay somewhere in Arenal it's an area worth exploring.
