All-Inclusive Costa Rica

Does anyone know of a good family-friendly all-inclusive in Costa Rica? I have read bad things about Allegro Papagayo so I am looking for something else. Please help :)

I read your review re: Costa Rica all inclusives where you listed the following as your favorites: Paradisus Playa Conchal...Playa Langosta by Barcelo...Playa Tambor by Barcelo...and RIU in Matapalo beach -- which of those 4 did you like the very best and which of those 4 will be better for families - w/teens ages 16-21?? I would greatly appreciate any info you can give us.....we are skeptical of traveling to Costa Rica as we are wondering if these beaches are really beautiful and if it will be alot of fun for our 18-22 years olds?

Hacienda Pinilla is a very nice resort on Playa Avellenas, about 20 min from Tamarindo. Gorgeous property, beachfront restuarants & pools, stables with horseback riding, spa services, amazing golf course... in a completely tranquil environment.

The best of the best is the Paradisus Reserva Conchal. Good: RIU and Hilton. Average but good: Barcelo Langosta and Barcelo Tambor.

Pinilla does not offer all-inclusive as far as I know.

Avoid at all costs - Occidental Grand Papagayo.

Hacienda Pinilla definitely offers all-inclusive. Besides vacation rentals, there is also a Marriot on the resort property.
