Costa Rica Trip Reports - add your URLs here

Hi all,

So many people come back from their trips to Costa Rica and take the time to write their trip reports. These provide lots of useful information and insight for others researching their vacations.

Currently, unfortunately, after a few days, the trip reports sink down many pages and even using the search function are often difficult to find.

With the new "Top Questions" feature at the right of the page, there is the ability to link to a thread. Many forums have one thread where they ask people who write trip reports to post a link to them plus a short description in one thread - (for example was it family travel, honeymoon travel, solo travel? What places were visited? This makes them much easier to access.

I am going to link this thread to the "Top Questions" If you have recently written a trip report - be it here on TA or even in a blog, could you please reply to this post by posting a link to it.

Or, if in your research, you come across a report that you think would be of interest, if you think of it, please post the link.

Pura Vida

Costa Rica Honeymoon: www.cristalazul.com

What I love about them, is that they are located in Playa San Miguel, Guanacaste.

This June, 2013, we did the Gate1, 14 day Panama/Costa Rica with Manuel Antonio tour. We were in Panama for 4 days which included seeing the city, surrounding area and Panana canal. Our guide, Carmen, was excellent. We then flew to San Jose to meet our guide, Patricia, and the rest of our group. Patricia was not only knowledgeable about the history, flora & fauna but went above & beyond to insure we enjoyed all the wonderful sights that Costa Rica offered. Our first day of travel by motor coach was to the Arenal Volcano. We hiked in the rain forest to a point where we had a fantastic view of the volcano. We enjoyed seeing the coffee and sugarcane plantations, as we headed south to Manuel Antonio. At Manuel Antonio we hiked through the rain forest to the Pacific Ocean & beautiful beach where we had a refreshing swim. In the rainforest we saw monkeys, iguanas & different varieties of birds. Extra tours were offered which were reasonable. We did most of them & were very glad we did. I especially enjoyed the zip-lining, hanging bridge tour and catamaran cruise along the Costa Rican coast. This tour provided the right mix of activities and leisure. This is my 3rd Gate1 trip - previously traveled to Spain/Portugal & Egypt. We are planning our next Gate1 trip next year to Australia and New Zealand.
