Things to do at night

My family and I leave for Belize next week. This is our first trip, and we're really excited. We are spending 4 nights in San Ignacio at Midas Resort and then 3 nights in San Pedro at the Palms. We have a lot of great activities planned for during the day, but is there anything to do at night in San Ignacio? Our kids are ages 13, 16, & 17. We plan on taking some games, and we know that Midas has a pool. But is there anything we should consider doing at night in San Ignacio? I would love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks :)

Hmm not much family friendly activities to do here in SI after dark. You can explore some local restaurants, get ice cream at Cayo Twist, if you leave the kids at the hotel, then a few local bars etc on Burns avenue and the Casino next to the San Ignacio Resort Hotel. In any event, all the good stuff happens in the day time :)

Thank you for the reply. That's kind of what I thought the answer may be. I just thought there may be some local music or something that we could take the kids to. Thanks a bunch. :)

If you're here on a weekend, there will be music downtown, and it's usually good music. Check out the Cayo Event Calendar for what is going on. http://bestofcayo.com/calendar.

The new Cayo Welcome Center usually has something going on.
