Hi yas---

I think CC is a very good option for you & babies. You can rent a little beach house with a kitchen to keep them fed on schedule. Try Barefoot Beach, they have a cabin just behind the hotel (small sandy garden in between where the kids can play.) The cabin used to be open but has recently been divided into a couple bedrooms and air conditioned, even tho it has always had plenty of natural pass thru breeze the 5 times I stayed there.) They have a dock with a shady palapa & hammocks where you can relax.

CC has sandy roads and a nice, mostly passable beach paths that you can roll a stroller on. If you walk to the split, there is a shallow area where lots of babies play, your toddler will be able to meet local kids on any given day. If you can pack one of those collapsable shade domes for your little ones, you can enjoy more outdoor time with them. Sun stroke is a very real possibility.

There are lots of restaurant and food vendor options on CC if you don't feel like cooking. Everyone pretty much is open all day, but service can be slow for whatever reason, so it's not a good idea to wait till the kids (or grumpy adults) are approaching famished to go to a restaurant...ya have to be a step ahead of the meltdowns and plan accordingly. There's well-stocked grocery stores with plenty of familiar US food and snacks to keep in your house. The bakery is good, as is miss Julia, the juice lady.
