weather in late oct/beg. of nov

hello,

we are thinking about going to Belize this year for our honeymoon, leaving CT on Oct 24 and coming back to LA the middle of Nov? But I have been reading differing things about the weather there at that time of year? Can anyhow give me their advice on this as well as where you would recommend our staying? We would love to check out the reef as well as the rainforest and caves and ruins. Thanks so much for your help!

hello. We went to Placencia in 2003 in mid November and the weather was great!. The sun was shining most of the time with only short periods of rain. The temperature was shorts weather everyday but if the breeze kicks up at night you may want a pair of long pants. In 2004 we stayed both in San Ignacio and Placencia in the beg. of December. Weather was still great with shorts and tank tops during the day. In the high 70s and low 80s. In the mountains it got fairly cool at night, high 60s but warmed up quickly in the daytime. Rain was pretty much minimal as it is considered their dry season. Have a great trip!

Look at the Cayo distrcit for rainforest, caves and maya sites. Placencia, Hopkins or Ambergris for beach/reef. Lots of great places to honeymoon. Hidden Valley Inn 3 nt honeymoon packages includes a day alone with picnic lunch at your own private waterfall. One of many good options.
