Airfare to Belize?

Has anyone ever seen airfare to Belize from the NY/NJ/PA area for less than $600? I've been tracking flights for 4 months now and I have not seen the prices fall at all. I'm just wondering if I should accept the fact that $600 is the lowest price. I've checked all kinds of cheap air websites. I'm even using Yapta (tracks the flights and lets you know when there is a fare change) but nothing so far. Thanks for your help!

We flew out of Newark last August. Airfare was usually between $580 & $630 but we did catch sale in April for $500. I haven't seen it that low since.

I don't know about flights from your area, I have been tracking flights since last August from Nashville and they just keep going up. They started around $660 and are now in the $700's. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like they are going down anytime soon. :(

American Airlines is currently offering a seat sale to Central America. Just out of curiosity I went to their website directly and plugged in some random dates in March EWR to BZE and came up with $536 all in. I have no idea whether this is a good deal or not...you'll have to judge for yourself.

We are flying out of EWR in late August and paid $627 per ticket. I thought that I was an OK deal.
