Need Help Aspen in July - Hotels/B&Bs Particular Needs

Hi:

We need a hotel or B&B in July that offers rooms with 2 double or queen beds (no sleep sofas) and has air conditioning. We can stay in either Aspen or Snowmass, or other nearby location.

We have looked at a lot of places, but the large "name" hotels are not in our budget, and many of the smaller lodges or B&Bs either do not offer 2 beds or do not have A/C.

We'd like a place with a little charaacter, not a motel, and prefer not to be in a condo, as we're looking for more of a real vacation experience, i.e. maid service, room service, etc.

Appreicate any ideas or suggestions. Our budget ,maxs out at 400 a night and that would have to include taxes and fees.

Thanks

best source of lodging info is at

http://www.stayaspensnowmass.com

If you want room service and A/C then you'll need to stay at a larger hotel --St. Regis. Little Nell, Jerome-- in Aspen, the Silvertree, Vicerory in Snowmass. You'll pay a premium for A/C in CO mountains. You may need to reconsider your wishes or your budget.
