Price is Right from Anaheim

Does anyone have any advice on transportation getting from Anaheim to LA for Price is Right besides our rental car. I am a little afraid we are going to get lost, since this is our first time there in California. We are going to Disney, and also getting tickets for Price Is Right, but decided to stay in Anaheim. Thanks for any advice.

Unfortunately there's no direct route from Disneyland to CBS Studios, other than driving, of course. However, you could use public transit. Here's how:

1) Go to the Anaheim train station on Katella (near Angels Baseball Stadium). If you have already have a car, then just turn East onto Katella and it should be a 5 minute drive on the right hand side. You could also take a taxi or Bus #50.

2) Take either Amtrak or Metrolink to L.A. Union Station. Metrolink is cheaper than Amtrak, but they only run during peak times (it's intended for commuters). It should be about a 45 minute ride to Union Station.

3) In Union Station, you can transfer to the Red Line (subway) of MTA. Get off at Beverly/Vermont (about a 10 minute ride)

4) From there, take MTA Bus #14 West on Beverly Blvd. It should be a 15-20 minute ride to the studios.

If you count waiting for trains/busses, it would probably take about 1 1/2 hours. Don't know if you think this is easier than driving, but this is really your only other option.
