Except for Main St. where else in Disneyland does snow fall?
The Rivers of America area (Fantasmic!) seating.
In front of the Castle.
The "it's a small world" watching area.
(The areas are marked on the park's map with a snow symbol.)
Once again, weather permitting (rain will cancel it, since the snow is basically glycerin bubbles, which will turn the walkways slippery.
But the Main Street area has the best lighting and due to the natural wind breaks, the best experence
It may fall in other areas, but in the middle of Main Street gives you that Courier & Ives feel of Christmas 1890.
We were caught in the snowfall when we embarked from the Storybook Canal boats in Fantasyland. Have fun! :)
Wow! How exciting! We will be there in two weeks. Are there certain times that the snow falls so we can try to be on main street? Thanks!!
The "Snow" effect is part of the nightly Fireworks show (the finale), so check the time on the schedule. (Once per night, weather permitting).
The snow goes along with theWinter Enchantment Holiday lighting, and Fireworks show. The Holiday lighting is done several times a night. However, When I was there last week, they were only having it snow at the 2 later times, with once being before the Fireworks show. ( its usually after the Fireworks show, but Im assuming since Disneyland closed early on some of those days, and Fireworks were just a few minutes before closing time, thats why the snow was done before)
For example, heres todays schedule is listed on the Disneyland.com website calendar, which shows time for the lighting ceremony at 5:00pm, 5:15pm, 7:30pm, 8:30pm. You should look at your own dates to see when it will be offered.
Here is a YouTube video of the snow at the end of the fireworks. Makes me all misty eyed every time we are there.
Does anyone have a copy of the map showing the snow locations?
The Map with the snow locations I believe is the Map of Disneyland Park that you can pick as you enter that Park.
