Places to eat around Disneyland

Any inexpensive yet good places to eat Near Disneyland? Not to picky, so any sugestion will do. Family enjoys mexican, pizza, or just about anything. We are trying to stay in a budget as its going to be a 2 week vacation down the 101 from oregon and back up to Idaho. We will be staying right accross from the park entrance.

Heres some good info on saving on meals from the Mousesavers website which is a good resource for you as they list current discount on attractions (they do not sell tickets) as well as associated discounts like meals ect.

Heres a good thread on inexpensive dining around Disneyland

Heres a Map of Hotels in the Disneyland area, it also lists the Restaurants that are in the area across from Disneyland, so you can see whats available.

There are some good places in Anaheim Gardenwalk.

We ate there a few nights the last time I was in Anaheim.

Including California Pizza Kitchen & Bubba Gump Shrimp which has a great atmosphere.

I assume you will have a car.

Check out Zankou Chicken on Ball Rd. Not your average meal and prices are reasonable but some plates are pretty large and you may be able to share. http://www.zankouchicken.com/. There is a strip mall at Harbor and Katella with several pretty cheap places, pizza, Mexcian, Subway and Chinese. There are many restaurants and quick serve places at the Outlets at Orange www.simon.com/mall/default.aspx?id=1236.

Near Angels Stadium on Katella at State College is a good quick serve Mexican place with reasonable prices, Fresca'shttp://www.frescas.com/. In the same plaza is Togo's, Panda Express and Carl's.

Restaurants at Garden Walk aren't really inexpensive but can be ok if you share. Cheesecake Factory and CPK have pretty big portions.

I hate to mention it as the line is already long at some times, but Mexi-Casa on Lincoln is the best priced Mexican Food near Dland for a family on a budget.

Not the nicest but you can't beat the lunch prices or dinner prices.

You'll either love it or hate it because the prices are low.

If you head north 4 miles from Dland on Harbor you also have a Costco Food Court Outside that anyone can access ($1.50 Dogs & Drink, $10 Big Pizzas) and there is an In&Out Burger also on the Lot.

P.S. Subways are all over too.

Marri's in Anaheim for pizza and down home Italian, Doug's Downtown Grill for American comfort food, Los Sanchez for down home Sonoran style Mexican food, Ho Toys for Chinese, Brodard Restaurant, King Harbor Seafood Restaurant are in Garden Grove and inexpensive, but amazing Vietnamese food.

Varsity Burger & Mexican Food in Downtown Anaheim is awesome, great burgers and old school Mexican.

I would avoid the chains at the GardenWalk like the plague. The food is very average and not inexpensive.

Also, a word of warning. Since you are staying across from the resort. Do not be tempted to eat at Captain Kidd's!
