Restaurants On The Disneyland

Hi everyone, still trying to plan on where to go to eat. As stated on a previous post, we are staying at the Homewood Suites in Anaheim. What restaurants are on that "strip" that takes you to Disneyalnd? Are there a lot or no? Looking for something comparable to Red Lobster, IHOP. Also for fast food options is In N Out Burger on that strip or is it further away?

Finally is there a supermarket within walking distance of Disneyland close to the hotels? We will not have a car.

Thanks in advance!

Lots of restaurants to choose from. Remember you will be in a resort area. You will be within walking distance of Joe's Crab Shack and Red Robin's. Just remember you will be well beyond walking distance to Disneyland as your hotel is actually in Garden Grove. You may want to take a look at Google Maps Street View. This will allow you to actually look at Harbor Blvd and see what's to offer in the area. Here's a link...

Once again, you are staying in GARDEN GROVE, not Anaheim.

And why Hilton says Anaheim "Area", as it is on the border of Garden Grove and Anaheim.

In the immediate area, Nicer places, I love Oggi's Restauarant and Brewery, also Joe's Crab Shack, Outback Stakehouse and Red Robin and a Coco's restaurant (typical coffee house) across the street.

Across the street is Del Taco, similar to Taco Bell, but better, IMHO.

A few block west on Chapman (You are basically at the corner of Harbor and Chapman), is Carolina's, a great place for Italian.

Going up Harbor towards Disneyland, there is a Jack in the Box, Carl's Jr. a couple of IHOP's, Denny's, etc.

The nearest In-n-Out is at the corner of Harbor and Orangethorpe, about 5 miles north of your hotel in Garden Grove. If you don't have a rental car, you can catch the local bus, OCTA Route 43 goes up and down Harbor about every 15 minutes most of the day.

Yeah, the hotel is on the borderline of Anaheim and Garden Grove, at the corner of Harbor Blvd. and Chapman Ave. From your hotel to Disneyland, on that "strip" all along Harbor Blvd., there are tons of places to eat! Cheap places, expensive places, and everything in between! These 2 lists are from other hotels, but it gives you an idea of what's in the area. Some of our favorites are the Cheesecake Factory (reasonable and has a huge menu!), California Pizza Kitchen (for "gourmet-type" pizzas), Mimi's Cafe, Buca Di Beppo, and of course, you also have your great, fancy steak places such as Ruth Chris and Morton's.
