Universal etc tickets

Going to L.A. August.

Is there any advantage in buying tickets to Universal / Disney / Warner Bros this side or should we buy when when we get there?

Thank you.

1. Re: Universal etc tickets

disneyland tickets, universal tickets, and six flags tickets are all less expensive if you buy them online ahead of time. and alot more expensive if you wait to buy them at the park.

for example, on disneyland.com they are offering a 5 day parkhopper for the price of a three day one, but it is not offered if you want to purchase at the park.

from your other post it looks like you are also wanting to go to six flags, tickets are usually the least expensive if you buy them beforehand online at their website, they usually have a good discount there.

here is a good webpage that lists all recent discounts for theme park tickets

just click on universal studios hollywood or whatever one you are interested in

The mousesavers.com website mentioned above is a great resource for discounts at all of these parks.

Generally if you order ahead of time it saves you the trouble of standing in line at the ticket booth when you arrive at the park - so you can spend more time standing in line inside the park instead of outside of it :)

The only caveat I'd add is that if you only want single day tickets for Disney, there's no way to get discounts.
