In June we will be driving from Cody to Deadwood SD. I would appreciate some input on the drive across the state. Is the better drive to take Hwy 14 from Greybull and connect I-90 at Ranchester going through Bighorn or head south to Worland and tak Hwy 16 and connect to I-90 at Buffalo. There does not seen to be much difference in distance, but I would like to know what drive would be more scenic and interesting. Also if anyone can tell me if one of these routes is more challenging than the other. Any comments are appreciated.
