Hello, we are planning a fall foliage trip to WV the week of October 20th. According to the foliage map, it appears that southern and northeastern WV usually peak around this time. We have planned a trip to southern WV, but I am wondering if it is worth the drive to the Canaan Valley region. I know this is a very popular destination, but I believe the leaves peak around late September? Is it worth it to explore this region for fall leaves, or are we better off sticking to southern and northeastern WV? We will be spending around 5 days total in WV. Thanks!
