Lodging and Tour

I am looking for a place for my husband and i to stay in the DC area that has a "lodge" type feel to it, just want to get away, relax and enjoy a weekend away. Also, wondering about any "ghost tours" in the area as we will be there over Halloween.

There are ghost tours offered in Alexandria, Georgetown and from what I read, Lafayette Square. A quick Internet search should find several for you. But reservations may be difficult to get close to Halloween.

I'm not quite sure what a lodge feel is without the wilderness outside the door. But nothing comes to mind that even remotely resembles a lodge anywhere close to DC.

A major metropolitan area with over five million people is a weird place to pick for a "lodge"-type feel! I think you'll either have to go to a more rural area and save DC for another trip or enjoy DC and forget the "lodge" thing.
