smoking rooms / balcony for hotels in downtown Washington

I'll be traveling to DC for a museum / history tour in early October. Are there any hotels that offer smoking rooms or preferably a balcony with smoking allowed?

Hotels that are non-smoking tend to forbid smoking on the balconies. Marriott and Westin properties are all non-smoking. I think that you should pick some hotels in your price range then call each one directly to see if they have some smoking rooms.

Do you mean "smoke free rooms"? In other words, "non-smoking rooms"? If so, you can find non-smoking rooms in just about any hotel. Some hotels are entirely non-smoking.

Hilton Homewood Suites offers smoking rooms. Good TA reviews. Week nights rate includes dinner -- and daily hot breakfast.
