If it does snow in late November, it usually does not last. Have only done dog sledding in Lake Placid, NY. But I have heard there is some going on somewhere in VT, perhaps up in the Northeast Kingdom. Hopefully someone else will fill you in.

Jim Blair in Eden, VT usually has good snowpack for his dogsledding operation Nov to late April. Call him at Eden Mountain Lodge for info.

I have a cabin and some land up in Eden and I can tell you that 90% of the time, we don't have good sledding snow in November.

Usually by mid December we have a good base of snow for skiing and sledding and we'll have it until early April.
