Quechee Gorge or Coolidge State park???

We have only a few days to spend in Vermont from October 10th to the 14th. We have never been and plan on spending our days exploring as many areas as possible. We are camping and cannot decide which of these two state parks would be better as far as scenery and central location...we do not mind 1-2 hour drives ...any advice appreciated

Coolidge State Park will be more remote and further from main roads if you intend to use it as a base to travel to other places. Quechee is v close to exit 2 on rte 89 and not far from rte 91, so certainly more convenient as a base, though less remote if you wanted wildness and solitude.
