Thanksgiving in TX Hill Country

We are looking for activities, cute towns, & both Thanksgiving & other meal recommendations for a trip to TX Hill Country during Thanksgiving.

My husband & I will be traveling with our tween & 1st grader. We're most interested in quintessential things to do & experience as opposed to sticking to a certain budget. We'll have 4 days there split between a day in San Antonio. We enjoy a variety of things from museums to small towns to hiking.

You will not want to miss the National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg. It is considered by many to be the best of its kind in the USA.
