Looking for statewide itinerary

I'd like to tour the state of Pennsylvania and see Lancaster County, Hershey, Gettysburg, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia. I could spend up to 9 days, and would need to use public transport (don't drive). The trip would have to be handicapped accessible as my husband uses a walker.

If anyone knows of a good statewide bus tour or tour group, or if anyone can suggest an itinerary via Greyhound or Amtrak, I'd love to know about it.

Thanks!

That's a tough one. Public transportation in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia will be easier than Hershey/Harrisburg and Gettysburg. Getting to Harrisburg on public transportation won't be too bad but once you are there getting around could be tough. Your best bet might be to look into a bus tour. Several friends have used the Richcreek Vacation Center which is in Harrisburg, PA. Here is their website: http://www.richcreekvacationcenter.com/ They might know of statewide bus trips. The AAA offices in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia & Harrisburg might also be of some help.
