fairfield suites muskegon or residence inn holland

Have 3 nights stay certs for marriott category 4, found these two hotels. which would you suggest. Which is closer to the nicer beach (whatever that is) and closer to dining and neat stuff to see.

Thanks

I'm a little partial but Muskegon has a very large and free beach. : )

The Farfield Inn is in a great location close to the Lakes Mall and many eaterys.

Both are comparable as far as quality and location. Like Greg said, the Fairfield is across the street from a mall and has several chain restaurants within walking distance. And Muskegon's beach is free.

On the other hand, while the Residence Inn isn't near much, downtown Holland - about a 7-8 minute drive - has lots more to offer re: nightlife and a far prettier downtown.

The Fairfield is a little closer to the lake, but both are several minutes' drive. Is there a reason you're looking at just these two locations?

Wanted a category 4 marriott hotel and something that is not too far of a drive from mid Indiana area.
