Hello I will travel to Hawaii in march 16 2017 for 5 days, it is the Laboratorium Trip of my University in Japan.

Acctually the travel cost and acomodation will be paid by University, but several meals I must buy with my own money.

I want to ask how much price range of the food in Hawaii..??

Hi!

Where in Hawaii will you be? What Island and where?

We really can't answer your question, as it all depends on "where" you choose to eat and "what" you choose to eat - and drink (alcohol).

For Honolulu, I generally spend about $60 - $80 a day, but I don't drink.

Thank you your answer,

I will arrive in Honolulu and spent the several days around Honolulu.

I don't drink alcohol, so $60-80 for a day? not for one time eat..?

and if I will bring $200 my own money is it enough for 5 times eat..?

I am sorry I ask too many questions.

<<$60-80 for a day>> That's just my personal spending habits for food daily. Others may spend more or less, and there are very broad options.

No, $200 will not cover food costs for 5 days. It would be very difficult, especially when you don't know where to look.

If you are staying on a university campus and can eat there, then yes, your costs would probably be less.

<<Yes, $200 will be enough for 5 MEALS.>> Yes, that could be OK if you were referring to meals and not days. And again, it will depend greatly on where you choose to eat and what you order.

That is a very important part of the equation, and one to be both answered and considered.

Good luck to the OP,

Yogi will you be eating breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday for 5 days? If you have a large breakfast you could skip lunch and have dinner. That would save some money every day. If you budget $80 USD each day you will need at least $400 for 5 days.

2nd day: Lunch

3rd day: one day will paid full by University

The Jagger Museum is part of Volcanoes National Park on the island of Hawaii also known as the Big Island. Entrance to Volcanoes National Park is $20 for a private vehicle and $10 for a walk in pedestrian.

However, the island of Hawaii is a completely separate island from the island of Oahu. The only way to get there is to fly. Flights can run around $190-200 USD round trip (from Honolulu and back).

Do you already have plane tickets to ITO (Hilo) airport? Are you going there with a group? On your own? Will you rent a car on the Big Island?

Yes, $200 for five meals will be quite adequate as long as you don't eat all of them at high end restaurants.

A couple of budget friendly restaurants that also have excellent food are Iyasume Musubi and Me Korean BBQ. Both are in Waikiki. (Looks like Iyasume now has three location!)

We have not been to Marukame Udon, But it is an extremely popular place for Japanese tourists and most everybody else as well!

If you want to have some American style food, find your way to the Harbor Pub. - Excellent pizza and other goodies!
