Cruises-N-More

Hi

This may or maynot be the correct forum for this but Cruise-n-More have their address as - USA Office: 610 Crescent Executive Ct., Suite 220, Lake Mary, Florida

So here goes

I have been trying to contact Cruise-n More from here in Australia without success. The phone numbers they have on their site and the numbers sent to me do not ring out from here so I am finding it very frustrating .The email they have sent me says

-Please call our office as soon as possible at 1-800-733-2048 or 407-771-4454 and dial 2. Any of our Cruise Specialists will be able to assist you.

Sadly these numbers will not connect from here in Australia and when I reply to the email I get

Thank you for your email. For assistance, please contact our office at 800-733-2048.

Please be advised, this mailbox is not being monitored. Messages sent to this email address will not be answered.

Can anyone help me with a contact number that will get through to them from here in Australia please ?? I have booked 3 cabins on a Carnival cruise with Cruises-n-More and apparently there is a problem with one of the cabin reservation payments . Its frustrating to be unable to speak to someone , especially when they charge an additional $15 for a service fee .

I hope someone can advise me please

thanks

You might want to post this on TA's sister site ww.cruisecritic.com. I google them and this is one link I found:http://www.my3cents.com/showReview.cgi?id=65847

There are others with unhappy customers. Seems this company makes a habit of not answering their phones. If you used a credit card you card company may be able to help you.

Thanks for the reply

Sadly "Cruise Critic" removed my posts on this -- they must have thought I was being critical - not sure about the " Cruise Critic " title then .

I have tried numerous times to contact Cruises-n More , as this was meant to be a fantastic holiday for our family. It is very frustrating when communication is not available , especially when we are spending so much money. I hope they contact me as it seems I am going to struggle from this end.

I do have a "friend " from the Cruise Critic site who contacted me before the posts were pulled . " Sultan " may call Cruise-n-More on my behalf ( from the USA ) and ask them to contact me . Fingers crossed .

Funny I just noticed you are also from Melbourne, just on the other side of the world!

I think they may have pulled your post because you gave so much info it almost looks like an ad for their company. Sometimes people will complain and I guess TA doesn't contact people to let them explain or change their post.

You should contact the Better Business Bereau and also the Chamber of Commerce for Lake Mary. One of them may be able to help you. With the BBB you will have to fill out paper work to file an official complaint but they may be able to tell you if this company has had other complaints and if they were resolved. It's a shame people like this seem to remain in business.

I wonder if you heard back from them ?

Sounds like they may be the same company as one in this scam

I used Cruises-n-More (CnM) Nov. 2010. Had a written confirmation from them of my $150. cabin credit, but only got $75. Cruiseline contacted CnM while I was onboard, but the mistake was not corrected. I contacted CnM when I returned: they acknowledged their error. As the months passed and still no check, I heard every excuse including--"our computers were not processing," "we sent it to the wrong address." Finally my agent (Gelinda) stopped responding to my polite inquiries. I finally had to go over her head to get the matter resolved. It was not worth the months of hassle. I would not use this company again.

Hi again

This topic was started by me and sadly for us had an ending I would not wish upon anyone . We , my family, were forced to return home from our holiday in Dec , 9 days in to our 6 week USA holiday I was admitted for a 5 day stay in Bishop Hospital where it was diagosed that I had a tumour which has subsequently proven to be cancer. The INYO Hospital at Bishop certainly saved my life and I am most grateful to my doctor there - Robin Cromer-Tyler and all the caring staff at that wonderful place. 3 days into my stay we were told our holiday was over and that we needed to head home for the surgery and treatment I am now about to commence .We then spent 5 long days in a hotel at LAX waiting for a plane home to Australia and during this ordeal my wife and children were busy contacting all our prepaid reservations etc to advise them of our unfortunate circumstance. My daughter contacted Cruises N More to advise them of this and was informed that the cruises ( 3 cabins on Carnival Freedom ) could only be cancelled by faxing back a cancellation form .Obviously the cruises were fully paid for , and we were advised in no uncertain terms that there could be fefund . OK , our misfortune. I understand that. What we didn't expect was to have our credit cards billed an additional $75 ea for cancelling a fully paid for cruise !! They were aware of our circumstance - they had asked to have a doctors report sent also - but still demanded another penalty on an already traumatised family. Cruise N More suggested we contact Carnival directly - despite us having paid the extra $15 that they insist on per booking for "one time payment for Their total service " .I would never use this company again - Evelyn needs to find a small amount of compassion to say the very least . Cruise N More are only after more dollars ,offer no service and do not care . Cruisers beware . Book directly with Carnival , at least they will answer your calls and emails and when things turn pear shaped will offer a word of sympathy and not demand more greedy money.

First of all, sorry for your health troubles. I wish you a good outcome after your treatment.

Second, you came all the way from Australia- did you like most have travel insurance? If so, they can refund you all the charges and lost money on crusies etc- it is what they are for. Second, if you don't have travel insurance (which you really should when traveliing so far) then call your CC company and Carnival and see what they will do for you.

And do file complaints with the BBB as suggested.

hamm0

I am sorry to hear about your health problems

I hope the treatment will be successful

I hope your travel insurance was from home & not through CNM

Just submit any & all charges.

sometimes what looks like a good deal is not worth the trouble

Wish you well
