Good uncrowded beach for swimming in Feb/March 09.

My wife and I are looking to visit Florida in late Feb/March 09 for 4 weeks. Our priorities are good beach for swimming, not too commercialised, wild life attractions, good restaurants. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanking you all in anticipation.

That time of year is the coldest time for the water tempature. So the question is how cold of water can you swim in? Naples/ Marco Island could be fine Temps rung between 68-74 that time of year North of Sarasota water tempatures are quite cool. Same with the Atlantic side, in Miami the temps will be cool but swimable, North of Ft Lauderdale not so much. The Keys have the warmest water temps but are not known for the beaches. Again it is all up to how cold of water can you swim in.
