June or August???

Still can't make up my mind to we go early June or August? How about wildlife is one time better than another for seeing them? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hello! Well, wildlife will be about the same except the babies will be more grown by August. Also, June has almost 24 hrs daylight, so you would have more viewing opportunities than in August when it begins getting dark again. More mosquitos in June. But to be honest, June is my favorite month here - I love how green it is and most flowers are blooming . . . in August you would have berries. Any other thoughts?? I hope that helps you some! :)

June is better. Not only is there more light as was mentioned but earlier in the month it is less crowded. Also, August is often a rainy month. I always love May since it is still a little cool with long days but it is not crowded. the cooler air often is clearer, so the earlier the better.
