I know Holguin didn't make the playoffs for baseball, but wondered if anyone knows the 8 teams that won if any are close enough to Holguin to go to a game?

Sancti Spiritus, Ciego D'Avila, Cienfuegos.

She'll be a full day, if not an overnighter!

We managed to catch Holguin vs Granma in mid-April last year, so you never know.

With the World Baseball Classic this year, the only schedule I've seen for Months was up until Feb (Nov-Feb season), but I was told it would continue later in the year. Still, I've been looking weekly and no schedules for teams (any of them) beyond Feb online. Ask around when you arrive.

The play-off round this season starts sometime in April I believe, although I'm not sure of the exact date. Lots of games for anyone visiting the western half of the island...not so much the eastern half. The closest to Holguin would be Santa Clara...but quite the hike to take in a ball game.

Closest to Holguin would be Ciego de Avila , don't count my Tigres out yet !!!!!

The all star game is this weekend and the playoff schedule SHOULD be out soon.

LOL!...a little challenging indeed.

Top row = home team (red on yellow)

Names in columns (black on white) = visiting team

On left you have month and date(s) of the series.

e.g. MTZ will host CFG April 3,4 and 5.

CFG to host VCL on March 26, 27, 28
