Hello fellow travellers
I'm planning a trip to Cuba in June with my husband. Our primal interest is to experience Cuban culture in general, interacting with locals, enjoying great music and relaxing in countryside. We only have 11 nights.
We're thinking of staying in Havana and Vinales, and wondering if we should add Trinidad as well.
My biggest concern is that I'm not a huge fan of long-hour travel on buses since I could get motion sickness quite easily. I'm aware that trip between Vinales to Trinidad & Trinidad to Havana consumes large amount of time. My husband has spent a month in Cuba before so he says all the plans are pretty much up to me(he apparently wants to relax in countryside, enjoying mojito and cigar, and horse riding and etc). Do you think Trinidad would worth a try in 11 days itinerary? Or do you think Havana and Vinales would be just good enough? Is there anywhere you would recommend to visit as a day trip around Vinales?
