Distance/Time on Waiheke Island

Hi there - wondering how long it takes to get to places on Waiheke.

ie - from The Fullers ferry terminal, how long would it take by vehicle to get to the area where Stonyridge Winery and Wild on Waiheke Brewery are.

or from ferry terminal to Cable Bay/Mudbrick Wineries.

Trying to work out a plan as we only have a short amount of time (4.5 hours)

Hi Chenin,

Hope you have a great time on Waiheke - it is a real gem.

From the passenger (Fuller's) ferry it is about 10 mins to the Wild on Waiheke brewery with Stonyridge being next door. The Mudbrick and Cable Bay vineyards (both very good with amazing views are much closer at around 4-5 mins from the ferry by car. They offer upmarket dining whereas Stonyridge is more casual. I really love the Bistro at the Mudbrick. There are many others too but I wouldn't go further west than Stonyridge and would concentrate on the sandy beaches in the north rather than the rocky ones in the south due to your limited time. Palm Beach is very nice and there are heaps of galleries dotted around to take in too.
