We are a group of 4 adults visiting Switzerland for 7 nights from 4 till 11 April 2012. Our itinerary comprises:
1 night in Montreux (visit Chateau de Chillon & Rochers-de-Naye)
2 nights in Sion (old town of Sion & day trip to Grimentz)
3 nights in Lauterbrunnen (Jungfraujoch & Grindelwald, etc)
1 night in Lucern (enjoy the lakeside setting and Rigi)
Due to the weather unpredictability in April & our dependence on public transport, would the above itinerary fulfill our interests in nature, light walking trails and lots of photography of the scenic sights? Question: Sion has a lovely old town but we are torn between choosing it versus Verbier. For Lauterbrunnen, if weather does not permit us to go up to Jungfraujoch, what other sights within the area would you recommend that we cover.
Appreciate all your views.
