Historical city break

Is Riga a good place to go for a short historical break and is it easy to get around?

yes it's a great place for a historical break and yes it's easy to get around. Just bring a good pair of walking shoes.

Can only agree with cjschreiner - even im maybe little colored.

But Riga has everything within a perfect walking distance, Old Town

with beautyful old buildings and cobbled streets and a touch of

ex-easteuropean metropol. Lots of museums too. Also WWII.

A bit further walking and you are in one of the best european Art Nouveau districts.
