Travel to Bratislava

Hi

I would like to travel to Bratislava from Budapest by train.

I would like to know from which train station i need to catch the train

since i'll be staying close to the ASTORIA metro station, can i catch the metro to the station.

Is it possible to take a return ticket from budapest, should i buy in advance and the fare for the journey.

Also how to get to a metro station from international airport Ferihegy terminal 2B on my arrival from Dubai.

HELP!

Is this a day out to look at Bratislava, or do you have a special reason for going ? Bratislava is usually reckoned to not be worth going to unless you can't avoid it.

Vienna, or somehwere like Pecs in Hungary are better bets.

If you just want to go to another country you might as well go to Šťúrovo which is half-way there, then you can walk back across the river to Esztergom on the other side. Bratislava is a long way to go for a day trip.

Or for a more immediately appealing city in Slovakia, you could try Košice which is going to be European Capital of Culture in 2013 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ko%C5%A1ice

it is a longer journey - 3.5 hours if you get the morning direct train and the evening direct train back, but it is worth it.
