4 college students in Budapest...need help planing trip.

Hello fellow Trip Advisors we are 4 college students going to Budapest. Our trip is coming up quickly and we need some help planning.

Heres the break down

We have a half day, two full days, and then our flight leaves at 11am the next day in early april, a tuesday through friday.

What are some ideas / or even better a schedule of things to do?

Also does any one have any tips on Budapest?

We are two guys and two girls

We would like to go to the baths

We are staying in a hostel in the center of the city close to the river on the east side, i guess the Pest side.

We are not interested in art or churches.

Cheaper the better but we are will to pay for tours and museums. Thanks so much hope you guys can help us out

Thanks again

Make sure you go to the Terror Museum, and get an audio guide.

Even as a college student, you'll find entry fees and things in Budapest cheap compared to cities in teh US, so you'll want to check out these lists, which include a lot of free options:

tripadvisor.com/Attractions-g274887-Activiti…

tripadvisor.com/Travel-g274887-s1/…Things to Do

And a LOT of the most popular sights (not just churches) in Budapest are outdoors/free or at least can be appreciated to some extent from the free outside.

You'll find lots of great nightlife recommendations here on the forum by searching "bars" or "clubs" or by checking out tripadvisor.com/Travel-g274887-s402/Budapest…

And Szechenyi baths is probably the best bet for a young, co-ed group - you can search it here on the forum or find it under Things To Do for more details.

Have fun!
