pub to watch football on Thursday night?

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a pub to watch the Uefa cup on thursday the 13th. I was hoping to catch the Werder Bremen vs Rangers game. I'm going to be staying at the Starlight Suiten Hotel.

Any suggestions would be most welcome!

Cheers!

Hello clara83,

The standby for our UK brethern is "Becketts." This long-time Budapest pub shows most UK football and rugby matches.

http://www.becketts.hu

They usually have their TV schedule posted. From Starlight at Madach ter, its about a 20 minute walk or a couple of stops on the blue line underground (get off at Westend and walk about 5 minutes). From Starlight closer to the Four Seasons, the walk will be about 25ish minutes.

Grab a cab from either location and you'll be there in 10 minutes at about 5 Sterling.

Other locations include: Champs Sports Bar, Kempenski hotel....

Have fun.
